Meet Brooke Carlson, host of PRP’s Petit Dejeuner club on Sunday mornings.
Brooke fell in love with community radio when volunteering as a DJ at her college radio station. Her first gig was a show from 2-4 a.m. on Tuesday mornings, and she’s been hooked ever since. Though nowadays, she doesn’t have to stay up quite so late to share her music with the world.
Brooke loves local music, though she particularly enjoys exploring music from around the world. From Brazilian Bossa Nova to Anatolian Rock to French Ye-Ye, she can vibe with it all. She explores some of her favorite genres on her show Petit Dejeuner club.
Brooke is currently a state worker by day, working as a communicator and social media-er at the Department of Transportation.
