BRIAN NERN
Production Manager
Brian Nern was born and raised in Washington, DC. In addition to hosting a weekly radio show since 1990 he’s acted as both Music Director and Program Director at two public stations in the DC Metro area, and worked in marketing for Elektra Records. He produced live sporting events for television in the mid-Atlantic region for 20 years before moving to Portland in 2015. Since moving to Portland he’s been working with PDX Pop Now! since 2016 serving on the Board of Directors and as Compilation Coordinator for their local music compilation.
Brian joined Portland Radio Project as Production Manager in December 2019. When not working his paying job as a Video Engineer he can be found volunteering in the arcade for Portland Retro Gaming Expo, attending local shows, and hunting for new and delicious food around Portland.
