I love seeing these little free libraries sprinkled around town. This one is near the corner of S.E. 50th and Clinton St. It had a number of books inside and a VHS movie.
What is a Little Free Library?
It’s a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories. In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share. You can, too!
If you’ve got some extra books lying around, this is a great option for finding them a new home. The website has a map of current libraries available worldwide but this particular one wasn’t listed — so keep your eyes peeled for the little boxes in your neck of the woods.

These libraries are all over Northeast and Southeast Portland. I wish there were more downtown/urban libraries, but maybe one day.
