Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and Two-Spirit (LGBTQIA2S+) Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan.   The celebration has morphed from one day (which was typically the last Sunday in June) to a month long recognition of the impact that LGBTQIA2S+ individuals have had on history locally, nationally and internationally.  Events are educational, informative and always a full on blast!
