The Secret Sea washed up on Portland shores just 3 months ago from Tel Aviv. They have a thriving indie-folk scene there, in Israel. And now we have an ambassador in the person of Amit Erez.
Meet The Secret Sea
Though he could have settle in New York City, Los Angeles or San Francisco, Amit’s music is shaped by his love for Elliott Smith, and that is mostly how he came to find himself in Portland. Amit settled in the archetypal neighborhoods of SE Portland. And now is setting about introducing himself to us with his beautiful guitar-picking and heartfelt music. You will hear two songs in his conversation with Saturday Joe Barrett, “A Place for You” and “Canada”. Links follow below for upcoming shows.
