Lebanon’s Sports and Youth Minister is up in arms over his country’s sole female Olympic skier and wants her investigated. Jackie Chamoun’s crime? Posing topless for what she thought was a private calender three years ago. The 22-year-old acknowledges on her Facebook page the pictures and video circulating on the Internet are her, and basically shrugs. She says she knows Lebanon is basically a conservative Muslim country and she understands if people are upset.
The photos were taken by Mexican Prince Hubertus von Hohenlohe, who’s also a competitor at Sochi. You may know him as the ski jumper whose uniform is patterned to look like a mariachi outfit.
