Aron Schur was born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, just a stone’s throw up Interstate 5 from Portland.
A longtime singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in the area, Aron has spent countless hours navigating the Pacific Northwest music scene. In addition to bolstering his solo repertoire, Aron has been a part of several talented local PDX-area projects, including Sarah Wild and the Watch, Part-Time Perfect and Sell the Farm just to name a few.
While relatively new to the radio end of the PDX scene, Aron has a storied history of over two decades of Stage, Music and performing experience.
His Hobbies include being an avid reader, lover of Nature, and long time Disc Golfer, in addition to all things music. Aron is absolutely thrilled to be a part of Portland Radio Project, and can’t wait to share his love of ALL genres and styles of music with YOU, on his show, Playing by Ear.
