Beyond Your Front Door is a weekly adventure guide exploring Oregon’s diverse and beautiful coast with local experts who live and work in the region. The show is produced and hosted by Dina Pavlis (beyondyourfrontdoornorthwest.com) out of KXCR Community Radio Station in Florence, Oregon. Dina has been a U.S. Forest Service volunteer interpretive ranger for over 19 years on the central Oregon coast. Author of “Secrets of the Oregon Dunes,” Dina is an avid hiker, outdoor enthusiast, and nature photographer. She’s been featured on Oregon Public Broadcasting’s “Think Out Loud” and NPR’s “Oregon Grapevine.” She is an Oregon Coast Quest builder and member of the Oregon Dunes Restoration Collaborative. She has given numerous talks and provided guided walks and hikes in the Central Coast region.
