On this episode of the show, we had Chris Spicer and Jen Deale of Santiam stop by the station to talk about the bands latest single, songwriting process, and the sonic expansion of their new sound. Having recently released the new single Hold Me Now and faced with a lineup change, the band had plenty to talk about. Santiam brings a mix of folk, rock, blues, and now synth to their music. As you will hear in the podcast, the band’s sound has evolved recently, opening up new channels of inspiration. The PDX Spotlight playlist highlighted Jen and Chris’s influences along with their No Address EP and latest release Hold Me Now. Jen Em and I want to thank Jen and Chris for spending the evening with us on the air!
