Luke Neill‘s show Sounds of PDX brings music-focused interviews with Portland musicians to the airwaves each week on Tuesday nights. Now, musician, music producer, songwriter and PRP volunteer Luke Neill adds Sounds of PDX Listening Party to Portland Radio Project‘s Thursday line up.
Luke Neill hails from the Phoenix, Arizona area originally. He and his wife, Sarah, followed their hearts to Portland, Oregon in the fall of 2014, and Luke began volunteering at Portland Radio Project in the summer of 2015. Luke has become a staple and huge supporter of the Portland music scene, from his work on Sounds of PDX and PDX Spotlight, and also through a new non-profit project benefitting underserved students with musical interests, Uncut.
Luke says, “I volunteer at PRP because it’s community-focused and gives a platform to local artists to share their music. I’ve been lucky enough to host sounds of PDX since January 2016, and it’s allowed me to interview some incredible people. Local artists have also brought me music to debut on the show, which is always an honor. With (SPDX) Listening Party, I hope to bring new and inspiring music each week from both the local and national music scene.”
Thanks for all you do for Portland Radio Project at the Portland music community, Luke Neill!
