PIPER McCOY
Host of American Pi (Sundays at 1pm)
Piper became obsessed with radio in college, hosting her show “Piper at the Gates of Dawn” whose four year legacy investigated the musical history of her friends and classmates. Long before her radio days, Piper started singing in choirs when she was five years old. Today she is a member of the Lewis & Clark Community Chorale.
Piper always has a song stuck in her head, and her musical taste ranges dramatically. Her show American Pi branches across genres and decades, so tune in to hear some old (and new) favorites. Her favorite part of a song is its lyrics and she loves making up harmonies while singing along to the radio.
Piper currently works as a substitute teacher, javelin coach, and undercover college student (whatever that means).
