Host of Orbits & Pieces (Thursdays at 6pm)
Michael Deresh has been a fixture of the Portland music scene for some time.
As a musician, his bands Risley & Tea for Julie have opened for many national touring acts, performed three KEXP Sessions, been licensed for major ad campaigns and released a host of albums.
He’s performed as a solo artist in Brazil and Argentina as well as regionally.
As owner/operator of Lamplight Studios, he’s recorded/produced releases for a host of local bands/artists as well.
Additionally, he was one of the original founding members of PDXPOPNOW! and has worked to organize many local benefit shows over the years.
