Having experienced a homegrown Portland childhood in the late-90s/early 2000s, Jenna grew up musically with the likes of Paula Cole, Goo Goo Dolls, Lisa Loeb, Sarah McLachlan, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana to name a few. Since then, Jenna has become a “chronic playlist creator,” infinitely expanded her musical knowledge of the local area, and wishes to share it all with the world. She also has a background in instruments such as bass, guitar, violin, and choral music; as well as Irish, tap, jazz, and contemporary dance.
Jenna also holds a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Oregon. She is greatly thankful to Portland Radio Project for inspiring her to follow that path, and giving her opportunities she never before thought possible.
During her free time, you might catch Jenna seeing the latest movies, at yoga practice, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, reading classic dystopian literature, or befriending the neighborhood dogs and cats.
