After two years of a COVID-induced slump, Oregon’s live music scene is kicking into high gear.
Here’s a quick roundup of what’s to come!
The Schnitzer
Portland’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall boasts talented singer-songwriter (and Oregon native!) Mat Kearney on May 13.
Grammy nominee and Peabody Award winner Tori Amos is bringing her singer-songwriter brilliance to the Schnitzer June 7.
The Edgefield
We have a bounty of top-notch summer shows coming to the ever-popular Edgefield.
Among them: The Pacific Northwest’s much-loved Fleet Foxes (July 12), and talented, socially-active Michael Franti & Spearhead (July 21).
Also of note: The Edgefield will host grammy-nominated Phoebe Bridgers worldwide tour (August 25). Plus, bluegrass phenom Billy Strings plays two shows – August 12, and 13.
Crystal Ballroom, The Moda Center
Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kurt Vile plays the Crystal Ballroom May 17.
The former lead guitarist of rock band The War on Drugs is touring to promote his latest “Watch My Moves” release.
Don’t miss him!
Imagine Dragons bring their Smoke & Mirrors Tour to the Moda Center June 3. If it’s even half as powerful as their 2015 show, it’s one not to be missed.
But wait, there’s more.
Pop-rock supergroup Maroon 5 kick off their world tour at the Moda July 30.
Don’t miss out
This is by no means an all-inclusive list. Be sure and take a close look at the schedules for all your favorite concert venues!
That’s a wrap
There are so many fine music venues in Portland, it would be remiss not to call your attention to a few more.
Be sure to check for upcoming show dates at quality spots like The Doug-fir Lounge, The Wonder Ballroom, Aladdin Theater and Mississippi Studios.
