On this special Drop-In Session, three members of the local band Cedar Teeth joined DJ Jen Em to talk about their summer 2017 E.P. release Farewell to Green Mountain and their show at the Doug Fir Lounge February 17. Listen in as Erin Corvine, Dylan Martell and Adam Murray perform “Echo’s Grounding” and “Mama’s Morning” from the soon to be released E.P. Farewell to Green Mountain and “Handy Dagger” from their 2014 release Hoot.
“A band in the truest sense, the songs of Cedar Teeth come together organically: like a jigsaw puzzle without the box, assembled by many hands. Crafting a sound that blends rough and rustic folk rock with lyrical American roots, the music of Cedar Teeth is drawn from their experiences and sentiments of living on the frontier dividing the wilderness and the city. Their debut album Hoot explores the tensions of a generation: love, materialism and destruction in a morally ambivalent landscape.”
Cedar Teeth is:
Dylan Martell – Vocals, Acoustic Guitar
Rayson Gordon – Bass
Luke Precourt – Electric Guitar, Keys
Adam Murray – Drums, Vocals
Erin Corzine – Keys, Banjo, Percussion, Vocals
