How to Cap Off the Weekend

Peter Buck DJ night at the Savoy

Thanks Scott Mcaughey, for alerting me to this. Scott writes:

Peter once again carts in a treasure trove of vinyl fun down to Savoy (2500 SE Clinton St.) this very Sunday night. The spinning is set to begin at 10 p.m. but you might want to get there early to stake out a spot and some fried chicken. Sunday, Dec. 15 at 10 p.m.

I’m pretty sure this won’t be a holiday-themed musical event, so no need for eggnog or loud sweaters, though of course, if that’s your thing, do it up! By all accounts it looks to be a festive night whether Bing Crosby shows up or not. More likely to have the Sonics drop in, I’d say.

Third Eye Blind

And if you want to stretch the weekend another day (and who doesn’t!) Third Eye Blind has a gig Monday, Dec. 16 at the Crystal Ballroom.
