Just days before the release of their debut record, Falcon Heart joined me to share some stories, influences, and the hard work behind making an album. Falcon Heart’s Catch The Wind, is a stellar collection of songs ranging from storyteller-folk to anthemic rock. I was wondering what may have been the inspiration for the album and was blown away with a few of the stories surrounding the recording process. During the broadcast, we listened to the group’s influences, including Canned Heat, CAKE, Sublime, Band of Horses, and more. I would like to thank Falcon Heart for surprising me with an early release of the record live on air, I truly appreceate it.
