Rudeboy Radio
Saturday: Noon – 1pm

Rudeboy Radio takes you on a weekly journey from Reggae to Hip Hop – from the streets of Jamaica to our own backyards.
“I want to bring listeners some flavor and culture from my own heritage and give them an experience of discovery mixed with nostalgia,” says Ray Gill Jr.
Raised in Texas suburbs, Ray used music to escape the “cookie cutter” life behind imaginary white picket fences to explore his roots and discover his inherited culture. The son of a Jamaican mother and Belizean father, he was provided an early-life soundtrack of Reggae and R&B. As Ray grew into a teenager in the ’80s and ’90s, he was blessed to experience the birth and growth of Hip Hop. These musical pillars grounded in funky rhythms, head knocking beats, and conscious lyrics lay the foundation of sounds he’ll be sharing each week on Rudeboy Radio at noon every Saturday.
