Sharing recipes they inherited from their grandmothers on Maui, the owners of 808 Grinds brought Kahlua Crunchie Wonton and Haupia (Hawaiian-style sweet potato pie).
808 Grinds will appear at this weekend’s Bite of Oregon, a Waterfront Park food festival August 8 -10.
A benefit for Special Olympics Oregon, The Bite is celebrating 31 years of bringing together Oregon’s top chefs, best wineries, craft breweries and finest cuisine.
