I was born where they tested the Atom Bomb in Los Alamos, New Mexico and always thought that was the reason for my high energy and constant desire to talk, and talk, and, well you get the idea.
School teachers tried to stifle my desire to communicate from kindergarten through 12th grade. To this day I can write “I will not talk in class,” faster than anyone I know.
A degree in Journalism and some much needed maturity helped me land my first job in radio. More than 30 years of doing Morning Drive radio here in Portland and if it’s up to me, I’ll be doing 30 more.
Divine intervention was at play when I was invited to become part of the PRP family. It’s an experience I cherish everyday. Plus, they let me talk!
