Week ten of the new Portland Radio Project (PRP) and  Portland Center Stage (PCS) concert series “Local Spins” showcases Blues/Soul/Alt fave Wil Kinky.

It’s Alright … heck, it’s flipping awesome to experience Wil’s live performance! A prolific gigger about PDXtown, his soulful grooves set the mood for R&B love. He’s clearly in the neo-crooner camp, sporting a sound “like John Mayer meets Ray Lamontagne at a radio concert.”

A true Oregon original, Wil’s fun fact is that he was raised on a blueberry farm outside Cornelius. This early intro to hard work fueled his passion to always give it 100 on stage.

Come Feel the Energy Between Us at Portland Radio Project’s Local Spins session on Tuesday, November 17, 6:30 pm at the historic Armory in the Pearl District.

Concert admission is free and open to the public. (No show ticket is required.) However, if you plan to attend a Local Spins concert, and would like to stay and see that night’s PCS play, enter the promo code: LOCALSPIN at pcs.org to get $10 off show tickets.
