KATU anchorman Steve Dunn stopped by the PRP studio Wednesday morning to champion the work of a local nonprofit, Children’s Center, which provides services to Clackamas County children who have suffered neglect or abuse.

“When you talk to someone and you can see the passion in their heart, they’re not doing a job – it’s a mission for them,” Dunn said of Children’s Center service providers, including medical, educational and legal experts as well as community volunteers.

All week, August 3-7, PRP’s Community Voices series focuses on child abuse intervention services provided by Children’s Center. The week culminates with Dunn’s Duffers, a benefit for Children’s Center at Langdon Farms. (PRP is sponsoring and streaming music to hole number one.)
