After a series of truly buslife events including a Treefort Music Fest butt picture and an accidental text message, The Fame Riot ended up in Portland Radio Project’s studio this past Wednesday for an interview with Heather Hanson on The Bus Stop. Lucky for us, Portland is the first city on their upcoming two and a half month long musical journey, so Shazam Watkins and Liz Scarlett were in top form as they shared secrets, sources of inspiration, the importance of being authentic to oneself, and what it was like growing up without popular music in the home.
