Now entering its 11th Season, Northwest Dance Project is dedicated to the creation and performance of innovative, contemporary new dance works from established and emerging dancemakers.

The Portland non-profit was founded in 2004 by acclaimed dancer, mentor and choreographer Sarah Slipper. Since then, Slipper’s brainchild has developed a world-wide reputation for excellence.

Below, from our award-winning Community Voices series, is our conversation with Scott Lewis, Executive Director of Northwest Dance Project.
