I was a huge fan of independent filmmaker Kirby Ferguson’s series of short, very entertaining, very thought provoking videos “Everything is a Remix” — about the nature of influence and creativity, and how copyright laws can put a stranglehold on those two things.
Naturally I was interested and became a Kickstarter supporter when he announced he was working up a new series: “This in Not a Conspiracy Theory.” He just released Part 1. Check it out.
