Friday, August 11 Brian Copeland Band Returns to the Buffalo Gap
“Hello friends – we are back! It’s been several years since we regularly rocked the attic, but I figured it was time to return to my roots with my new band and do it all again. Whether you were a Buffalo Gap regular back in the day (you know who you are), or don’t even know what the Buffalo Gap is, we would love you to join us for a special reunion of sorts with a venue that is near and dear to me.

I will have my full band with me featuring Jeff Koch on lead guitar, Kat Cogswell on vocals, Michael Jarmer on drums, and Darin Wirth on bass guitar. And I have heard rumors of a few special musical guests 😉 No cover for this show – just show up and have fun with us!”

Saturday, August 12th Music Millenium’s 25th Annual Customer Appreciation Day
Music Millennium is holding its annual Customer Appreciation Day. So many of my favorites are playing throughout the day. I am especially looking forward to catching Portland newcomer, Steve Barton, solo artist as well as frontman for Translator. Catch up on Translator history and Steve Barton during a recent hang at my studio.
This year they will be serving eats and drinks from sponsors Ninkasi Brewing, Tofurky, Franz Bakery, Crema Bakery, Staccato Gelato, Portland Beverage Company, Secret Aardvark Sauces, Guayaki Yerba Mate, Spike’s Hot Dogs, Stumptown, Viso Energy, Voodoo Doughnuts, Rhythm Traders, Pizza Schmizza, and Purity Organic. Everyone will have a chance to spin the Wacky Wheel of Wonder and win great prizes like autographed posters and albums, Music Millennium T-shirts, gift certificates and more!
Plus it’s Terry Currier Day! Mayor Ted Wheeler has declared August 12th as “Terry Currier Day” in the city of Portland. Currier, Music Millennium’s owner, is being recognized as an integral part of Portland’s music scene for the past 45 years.
